| Abstract: | With about 12% of orthopaedic patients being diabetic and a large proportion of them being obese as well, orthopaedic surgeons are commonly involved in managing diabetic patients in both outpatient and Inpatient setting. This review summarizes current concepts in diabetes management including specific orthopaedic issues and future directions of diabetes management. |
